Each pair of Belly Jeans starts out as a gently worn pair of recycled jeans. The zipper or button fly is removed, (no stiff, pinching fly) and a supportive 3" band of elastic is added. The elastic is covered by soft knit fabric. This band cradles, not covers, your growing belly. It also makes them comfortable throughout pregnancy...early to late, and even for that sensitive postpartum time.
Another nice feature is the pockets remain functional. Each pair is unique, so look at the picture that accompanies each size-link. That IS the pair of jeans you will get upon ordering. I've tried to make sure the pictures show the true color; some being more faded than others; some showing the smallest signs of wear. If there are other signs of wear, small holes or stains, I do my best to make sure it is pictured.
